Depends on the board. Newegg sells nearly 670 different motherboards starting at $31 all the way up to $600.

Also note that replacing the motherboard can come with additional expenses if an exact replacement is not available, or if you decide to "upgrade" the computer during the process as you may then need to also upgrade the CPU and RAM. And, if not an exact replacement (or suggested replacement from the same maker if original model is no longer available) as that most likely will require you purchase a new Windows license too as an "upgraded" motherboard is considered a new computer. New computers require new licenses, and often not just for the OS.

So, plan ahead and backup your data now, and regularly from now on.
