deleting favories from list

in windows 10 I have 2 areas where favorites are . 1 is where the down arrow is in the toolbar & 1 where the 3 lines go across on the address bar. I can delete the ones from the 3 lines icon but not the arrow icon. why? I have windows 10 pro

you need to be more specific as to what you are talking about. If you are talking about in win10 what area? if you are talking about browser, you need to specify which browser.

I'm using windows Microsoft edge as my browser. there are 2 places to go to your favorites. 1 is one your add. bar & the other is on your toolbar. why cant I delete the 1 on by address bar? cant explain it any better than that.

Its obvious that they are talking about Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser;

Clicking on the menu (hub-3 horizontal lines) then right click on the favorite you want to remove.

The down arrow is part of the Favorites Bar to remove one of them click on the HUB menu then click on Favorites Bar, now you right click to remove.

If the item is showing on the favorites bar already then right click to remove.
