Seems a bit mind bogggling it will take me a while to digest this lot, nice to know it can be one.At the moment for some reason, I have acces to the web with only the ssd and the disk drive connected ,am I accessing the web only because the instal disk is in?,so if I take it out will my connection disappear.I have tried to instal this disk a million times and failed each time but this time I am asked for user neame ,password etc and get comnnected, without the instalprocedured happening. How can I tell if my connection is through the operating system or the actual instal disk is allowing me to surf? I am too windy to turn it off.

Is it possible to create a restore point to a detachable drive I have by some miraculous means got connected after seeing the install had failed and want to create a restore point of the operating system on 30gb ssd,as the system took up about 17gb this would seem too small and am wondering if I can send it to my detachable disc that has about 80gb unused

had failed
