ok i will run that now. also, not sure what the startup changing stuff did but now my scroll isn't working on my mouse pad

The FIX IT too did not solve the issue.

Also, can anyone help me fix the scroll on my mouse pad on my laptop? it stopped working after the clean boot steps

I reinstalled my touchpad driver and the scroll now works on my laptop. however, windows updates still not working with the fix it tool.

We are not ignoring you - I for one, am a bit stumped.

You might try sfc /scannow from a command prompt (note the space before the "/") and see if that corrects anything

Go to control panel>programs see which version of Netframework is installed. It should be 3.5.1

I do not see Netframework anywhere. I also see (Java-32 bit) .. I have a 64 bit .

did not work. says "some updates were not installed" Hotfix for Windows (KB947821)
