8.1 freez problem

Windows 8.1 freezes after logging in and then there is no cursor

This happened when Norton shows an error due to Windows 8.1 update. Or if there is a cursor it cannot be moved. And there is a notice that we may not be protected by Norton

boot into safemode or using a win8.1 disk and do a system restore to a previously saved restore point that was created prior to when the problem started.

Make sure that you have all the hardware connected properly and not misconfiguration. Also make sure that your GPU and CPU have no overheating issues. Use apps like AIDA64 to perform the stability test of your PC.
