$200 dinner

Is a $200 meal at a Michelin restaurant really 10x better than a $20 meal at a chain?

Note: I have been watching Anthony Bourdain, and even he had a soft spot for Waffle House.

Better? No. Different? Yes.

A chain restaurant likely won't have Lobster Thermidor, New Zealand Rack of Lamb, or Chateaubriand. Or a nice crispy duck dish. How it's served will likely be different as well. I doubt the waitstaff at Red Lobster will crumb your table from the left

Bourdain may have realized the futility in overpaying..... and... well....

Price points, regardless of what is being sold, are all completely subjective. Everything is worth NOTHING other than what someone is willing to pay for it.

Unrestrained capitalism is evil.

Who cares about a restaurant rated by a French Tire Company anyway?
