something I should have mentioned is your tablet android operating system is at the minimum for outlook. It could have issues that cannot be fixed. In addition it could become incompatible at any time so you might want to consider another email app.

Verify mobile data is enabled.

From the home screen, tap Settings.
Under Wireless and networks, tap Data usage.
Tap to check Mobile data.

Update the data profile.

From the home screen, tap Settings.
Scroll to and tap System update.
Tap Update Profile and wait until it completes.
Tap OK.

A soft reset reconnects your Samsung Galaxy Tab to your provider network.

Press and hold the Power button until your device turns off.
Release the Power button to turn your device back on.

Try:
  • From the home screen, tap the Menu key.
  • Tap Settings.
  • Scroll to and tap System Update.
  • Tap Update.
  • If prompted, read the software update message.
  • Tap the preferred option.
  • If a system update is available, follow the prompts to install the update.
  • Otherwise, tap OK.
  • The device software is up to date.
