Question WiFi Booster Compatability

I have a Motorola combo router/modem, and would like to get a WiFi Booster.

Will the airport express base station work with my Internet setup? If I have a second laptop that is Windows-based, will that get a better, uninterrupted wireless boost, as well?

Or, should I get the same brand (Motorola) of a booster, for better results?

Thanks for any help.

As long as the booster is compatible with the Wi-Fi protocol that your router uses
(802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, or 802.11n), any make of Wi-Fi booster will work with it.
What does matter is the quality & reliability of the booster you decide to buy.
Try and read some online reviews of particular models before buying.
