Windows 7 New computer randomly restarting and freezing

Hello, first time on any forum so forgive me if I've posted somewhere i shouldn't have.

I recently bought a computer with Windows 7 Pro, 8gb RAM, 500gb HD, and I think it said 3 core as well. I have been experiencing random restarts and complete lockups for the past months (same amount of time I have owned it) and it has been in the shop three times already for these issues. Every time i get it back however, the problem is still there and this last time they swapped out all the components with new ones and still the problems are there. I would rather not take it back again, I have lost faith in the company I bought from. Is there anyone who has an idea of what this could be and how I could stop it? I will do my best to unerstand and apply whatever is suggested.

Thank you.

Has Windows been reinstalled on this machine? If so, the problem will be hardware related. Take it back again Daniel while it is still under warranty. Insist they fix it or replace it if they cant.

Good luck Daniel. If the retailer has any integrity, they will make sure the problem is fixed (one way or another).
