Have a look on Newegg for a Core 2 Duo e6300 for the processor. HDD however big you want..

2GB RAM, 7900GT graphics card, Or 7950GT, And a decent branded Power Supply - Such as Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake, OCZ, Sparkle.

Sorry I'm too lazy to check prices for what I partly suggested

Anything with the Core Name is considered good
Pentium is not so good now, similarly Athlon
Stay right away from Celeron and Sempron, unless you just can't afford the others

Graphics card is low-end for a CPU like that, Bottleneck.

Now the CPU is too weak for the Graphics card...

I would go Core 2 Duo 6400 and a Geforce 7950 or 8600 If possible

I would also go 2X 1GB RAM, it should be a tad cheaper, keeping similar performance

I would also ditch the Extra Sound Card, unless you're a hard core gamer, in which you would of got a Core 2 Duo X6800 and a Geforce 8800 GTX

Would you use up the 500GB?
maybe go smaller but better value, 320GB and 400 GB seems fairly good value these days
