Well if trying to partition and you accidentally erased the C: partition then that is why it will not boot. The oprating system is gone.

Reboot the computer and get into BIOS SETUP. each computer is different usually the first screen tells you what key to hit to get into SETUP.

Generally the DEL key but could be one of the "F" keys, make and model of the computer or laptop would help.

How were you trying to partition, using a program? If so which one> Or within Windows?
