I'm on my phone right now so can't provide much detail, but before you uninstall that wireless device, go to the PC manufacturers website, the support section, download drivers, and see if you can find the wireless driver installer and download it before I doing that step.

Is there a way i can find my system info? I just rebooted..it did find my device.

Need the model number. Laptop, should be on the bottom. Desktop, on the sides or back. Dell, the Serial tag. So you have no wireless on this system?

I bought a ASUS USB AC53 Nano Wireless adapter last year in preperations for 5G. It seems that immediately after i unplugged it.

I have to assume Windows reinstalling the wireless device brought no improvements.

Whoops, typo. I meant to say after it was uninstalled and rebooted, it saw the device. The pc seems to be running a bit better. There are no real hangups alongside from the occasional loading page that takes time to load in Firefox.

I think uninstalling the network adapter also clears the Winsock, and can clean things up. For that system info question you asked earlier, you can check the steps here. Anything else I can help you with?
